These Terms of Service govern your use of Fyrn, a product of The Goochey Group. By creating an account or using Fyrn, you agree to these terms. Please read them — we've written them to be clear, not confusing.
Fyrn is a personal and business financial management platform operated by The Goochey Group, based in San Antonio, Texas. Fyrn provides tools for tracking net worth, managing budgets, monitoring investments, planning for taxes, and accessing Finn — an AI financial guide powered by Anthropic Claude.
Important: Fyrn is a financial management and organization tool. It is not a licensed financial advisor, broker, or investment advisor. Nothing in Fyrn — including Finn's responses — constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.
To use Fyrn you must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding agreement. By using Fyrn, you represent that you meet these requirements.
Fyrn is currently available to users in the United States. Use outside the US is at your own risk and may not be supported.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password with anyone. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and to keep it updated. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or that violate these Terms.
Fyrn offers three subscription tiers:
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for all new paid subscriptions. If you're not satisfied within your first 7 days, contact us at support@thegoocheygroup.com for a full refund — no questions asked.
Fyrn uses Plaid to connect to your financial institutions. By connecting a bank account, you authorize Plaid to access your account data on your behalf and share it with Fyrn for display within the app.
Plaid's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy govern their handling of your credentials. Fyrn never receives or stores your bank login credentials — Plaid handles authentication directly.
You may disconnect any bank connection at any time from within the Fyrn app.
Finn is an AI assistant powered by Anthropic's Claude. Finn uses your financial data to provide personalized insights and answer questions in plain language.
Finn is not a financial advisor. Finn's responses are generated by AI and are for informational and organizational purposes only. They do not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Always consult a licensed professional before making financial decisions.
Your conversations with Finn are stored encrypted in our database to provide continuity of service. See our Privacy Policy for details on how this data is handled.
You agree not to use Fyrn to:
Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.
You own your financial data. By using Fyrn, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing Fyrn's services to you.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your financial data to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is handled.
Fyrn is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that Fyrn will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that financial data synced via Plaid will always be accurate or current.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Goochey Group's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of Fyrn shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including financial losses resulting from reliance on information provided by Fyrn or Finn.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@thegoocheygroup.com. Upon account deletion, your personal and financial data will be removed within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we discontinue the Fyrn service. We will provide reasonable notice where possible.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email and update the effective date above. Your continued use of Fyrn after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Fyrn shall be resolved in the courts of Bexar County, Texas.
